Terra Charge Launches Service of Three Standard EV Chargers at "FUTATABI FUTABA FUKUSHIMA"

Terra Charge Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toru Tokushige; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which operates the EV charging service "Terra Charge," has launched service of three 6kW output standard EV chargers at "FUTATABI FUTABA FUKUSHIMA," a retreat hotel operated by Daiwa Life Next Inc.

■ Background

Towards the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050, the spread of EVs and the expansion of charging infrastructure are rapidly accelerating. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has set a goal of installing 300,000 EV charging ports by 2030, indicating a demand for the development of convenient charging environments nationwide.

Currently, approximately 68,000 charging ports (Note 1) are installed in Japan, and our company is developing an infrastructure network on a scale that contributes to this effort. We are committed to creating an environment where EVs can be charged anywhere, from home to destinations, through flexible installation options that cater to the needs of facilities, users, and various charging scenarios. With this new installation, we aim to support the development of a sustainable regional society for reconstruction and the future.
