Technos College (Tokyo Kogakuin College of Technology / Tokyo Air Travel Hotel College) is a diverse vocational school gathering a total of 30 departments. We are pleased to announce that a video work created by first-year students from our Visual Media Department has won the 'Gold Award', the grand prize, at the 'Vocational School Video Festival ~ 90-Second Video Contest ~'. This contest was held on Monday, March 16, at the '44th Vocational School Video Festival' sponsored by the Association of Metropolitan Tokyo Vocational Schools, and this year, 10 vocational schools from within Tokyo participated.

The theme of the '90-Second Video Contest', which is the main project of the festival, was 'Fear hidden in everyday life (lol)'. Students from each school expressed trivial everyday events as fear through video from their own unique perspectives. On the day of the event, the works of each school were screened using a movie theater screen, and the students themselves gave passionate presentations.

Our Visual Media Department's work, 'Kami ga nai', received high praise for its well-paced depiction of the protagonist's impatience and conflict within a limited space, and its humorous direction utilizing diverse camerawork, leading to this splendid award.

Technos College will continue to promote activities that foster students' creativity and expressiveness, aiming for even greater achievements in the future.

About the Vocational School Video Festival
The Vocational School Video Festival is a festival jointly operated across school boundaries by students studying video at vocational and advanced training schools in Tokyo. Every year, various video contents produced by students are screened, and symposiums on diverse themes related to video are held. The Video Festival is an excellent opportunity to see video works created by students from other schools that one rarely has contact with, and it is also a place to deepen exchanges with students from other schools studying video. For high school students aiming for the video industry, it is a valuable opportunity to see the works of seniors studying at vocational schools all in one place.
