Tekmatroix Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takaharu Yai, hereinafter "Tekmatroix") will start selling "dotTEST 2025.3", a static and dynamic analysis tool for C#/VB.NET developed by Parasoft Corporation (Headquarters: California, USA, CEO: Elizabeth Kolawa, hereinafter "Parasoft"), from March 26, 2026.
dotTEST is a static and dynamic analysis tool supporting C# and VB.NET languages that strongly supports the development of high-quality .NET applications and a significant reduction in testing man-hours. It statically analyzes source code based on more than 3,000 coding rules to detect program issues and hard-to-find errors hidden in processing flows across files. It also collects coverage information during .NET application execution, making it easy to check for omissions in tests. By incorporating static analysis and coverage information collection by dotTEST into the development process, efficiency in testing and improvement in source code quality can be expected.
In this version upgrade, the addition of the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server extension has enabled integration with AI agents and LLM (Large Language Model)-based coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot). It can be used in development environments that support MCP, such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, to directly access static analysis results, confirm detected violations, judge importance based on recommendations, and suggest specific fixes. In addition, users can now refer to the user guide to check feature explanations and problem-solving methods. Furthermore, the LLM integration function has a newly added AI automatic correction function, which can automatically correct violation points based on static analysis reports generated from the command line. The correction work is automated, and a corrected commit is created in the working branch within the project repository.
In terms of environment, the application coverage function has been enhanced, and a new user interface for the coverage agent has been introduced. Coverage data for managed code managed by the .NET runtime can be obtained for both manual and automated tests. In addition, Visual Studio 2026 has been added to the supported IDEs, and it now supports analysis of code written in .NET 10 and C# 14.
Security compliance rules have been expanded, with the addition of rules based on CWE 4.18 (Common Weakness Enumeration), CWE Top 25 2024, and CWE Top 25 + On the Cusp 2024. By using dedicated dashboards and widgets, users can always check compliance summary reports and deviation reports according to various standards (CWE, OWASP, PCI DSS, etc.) from the static analysis results of dotTEST.
As the sole domestic distributor for Parasoft products, Tekmatroix will strengthen its sales, marketing, and user support activities for dotTEST as an optimal tool to solve the challenges of all customers involved in software development.
