Okazaki Ryujo Swimming Club Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Kumi Omori, Headquarters: Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) held its 2026 entrance ceremony at the club on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. This year, a total of three new employees, including one new graduate and two mid-career hires, joined the company, taking their first step as new swimming instructors to support the children of Okazaki.

Establishing a New Vision in its 54th Year

Since its establishment in 1973, our club has continuously supported the growth of children in Okazaki City. In 2026, we established a new vision: "A Professional Swimming Club that Makes Swimming a Lifelong Joy." We will continue to provide community-rooted instruction, viewing swimming not merely as a sport or an習い事 (extracurricular activity), but as a life-saving skill and a power that enriches life.

Congratulatory Address from Representative Director Kumi Omori (Summary)

The world is currently in an era of unprecedented uncertainty. Increasing natural disasters due to climate change, destabilization of international affairs, and rapid changes in social structures. In this context, "how to protect the lives and futures of children" is an extremely important question posed to us adults.

Within this, the role we, Okazaki Ryujo Swimming Club, play is clear. Swimming is not merely a sport; it is a "life-saving skill" and a "power that enriches life." We must be a group of specialists who nurture children's ability to live through water.

To all of you who joined today, I hope you feel proud. Behind each child you will interact with, there are the wishes and trust of their families. Responding to those expectations is the essence of our work.

To continue to be a presence that supports the safety and growth of children, no matter the era. That is our mission and our responsibility to society.

Precisely because it is an uncertain era, our work has definite value. I sincerely look forward to protecting and nurturing the children who will bear the future, together with all of you.

Greetings from New Graduate Employee (Excerpt)

I am very happy to have joined Okazaki Ryujo Swimming Club.

As I interact with children as a swimming instructor, I want to be able to provide guidance that allows them to feel "I did it!" and "I'm happy!" as many times as possible.

There are still many things I don't know, and I have some anxieties, but I hope to grow little by little while being taught by my seniors.
