Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. will hold "Forest Link Vol.2" (hereinafter referred to as "this event"), an exhibition and sales event involving businesses engaged in forestry and "Morigyo" (*), for two days from May 14 (Thursday) to May 15 (Friday), 2026, at "Forest Plaza" (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Otemachi Tower B2F), directly connected to Otemachi Subway Station.
(*) "Morigyo" (lit. 'forest work' or 'forest business'): An initiative to deepen the relationship between people and forests by providing and utilizing diverse ecosystem services of forests, including cultural services, and in conjunction with forestry, generating profit for forest owners and leading to the creation of rich forests. The promotion of Morigyo was positioned in the "Local Future Co-creation Strategy" (announced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on May 28, 2025).
This event is an initiative that utilizes "Otemachi no Mori," an urban green space within the Otemachi Tower premises, to connect urban dwellers with forests across Japan. It aims to create opportunities for urban residents to encounter forests through various forest-derived products such as wood products, aromas, food, and lifestyle goods.
This project originated from the connections Tokyo Tatemono has cultivated with various mountain villages and forestry workers through the operation and activities of "Otemachi no Mori." It aims for urban dwellers to learn about the activities and challenges of regional forests through "Otemachi no Mori" and contribute to protecting Japan's satoyama landscapes by purchasing products related to forestry and "Morigyo."

● Exhibited Products
High-quality items crafted by businesses involved in forestry and "Morigyo" will gather, including chocolates with the scent of the forest, sake made from the rich waters of satoyama, and aromas and hand creams that provide a moment of relaxation with forest scents.
● What is Forest Link?
Tokyo Tatemono is promoting a mechanism to sustainably connect urban areas and forest/mountain village regions across Japan, utilizing "Otemachi no Mori," an urban forest. "Forest Link" is a program that began as part of this initiative, aiming to connect cities with forestry and "Morigyo," staged at "Otemachi no Mori" at the base of Otemachi Tower.
It aims for urban dwellers to understand the activities and background of regional forests and build a relationship with forests through products, while for exhibitors, it provides opportunities for test sales in the city, understanding customer reactions, communicating their stories, and expanding sales channels, thereby connecting people, economy, and regions.
● About Otemachi no Mori / Otemachi Tower
Otemachi Tower is a large-scale complex directly connected to Otemachi Station on various subway lines, housing office floors, the commercial zone "OOTEMORI," and the luxury hotel "Aman Tokyo" on its upper floors.
"Otemachi no Mori," a vast urban forest covering approximately one-third of the site (about 3,600㎡), is home to diverse flora and fauna, including endangered species. It contributes to urban environmental improvement by mitigating the heat island phenomenon and preventing rainwater runoff during torrential downpours due to soil water retention effects. In March 2025, it was the first to be certified with the highest "★★★ (Triple Star)" rating under the "Excellent Green Space Secured Plan Certification System (TSUNAG)" operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and has received numerous certifications and awards.
The commercial zone "OOTEMORI" is located at the center of the underground network of Otemachi Station, which is served by five subway lines, including a connecting passage between the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Marunouchi Line within the facility. "Forest Plaza," where natural light from "Otemachi no Mori" on the ground floor streams in through a 15-meter high atrium, provides a serene space like being in a forest underground, offering convenience and relaxation to those working in the surrounding area, regardless of whether they are on or off duty.
