Background of Implementation: Resolving Image Gaps and Building a Content Production System

The Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation is the organization that operates the domestic largest-scale Kanji aptitude test, widely known by the name "Kanken."

The foundation faced a recruitment challenge where the strong image of "Kanken = an organization that creates teaching materials and tests" prevented the existence of diverse job roles such as promotion (sales), public relations, and research from reaching students and job seekers.

Furthermore, due to a lack of content production know-how and resources, the staff introduction pages on the recruitment website had not been updated for a long time. To resolve these issues and build a system for continuous information dissemination, they implemented "Talentbook Story."

【Challenges】

Lack of know-how and resources meant that a system for content production was not in place.

Staff introductions on the recruitment site had not been updated for several years, making the information outdated.

Job roles other than test and teaching material creation were unknown to job seekers, leading to a uniform applicant pool.

【Deciding Factors for Implementation】

The ability to produce articles of quality and quantity without specialized know-how using the AI-powered employee interview tool.

The availability of article formats, making it clear what to do and how to proceed, thus easy to start.

The ease of secondary use in recruitment media and joint information session materials, making it suitable for continuous dissemination.

【Utilization Measures】

Continuously creating and publishing staff introduction articles, focusing on young employees from various departments, using the AI-powered employee interview tool.

Sending notifications to students who applied each time an article was published, maintaining their continued interest.

Displaying QR codes at joint information sessions for follow-up and supplementary information after the sessions.

As a secondary effect, it was also used in mid-career recruitment interviews, prompting applicants to read articles beforehand and ask specific questions.

Comments from the Person in Charge

Mr. Ryosuke Miyamoto, General Affairs Department, Human Resources and General Affairs Division

By utilizing the AI-powered employee interview tool of "Talentbook Story," we have established a system for continuously publishing staff introduction content that we had not been able to address before. Also, at interviews, students have told us, 'I read the article and decided I wanted to do this job,' which gives us a sense that the information is reaching them realistically. In the future, we plan to create articles about mid-career and management staff so that students can envision their career paths after joining the organization.
