Takumi Giken Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Shota Maeda), which provides hands-on support for DX in the manufacturing industry, is pleased to announce that its AI-powered quotation and drawing management system, 'Takumi Force,' now supports 3D CAD drawings (STEP format) in its similar drawing search function.

This will enable end-to-end operations from viewing to searching CAD drawings on a single platform, even in manufacturing sites where 2D and 3D drawings are mixed.

## Background of the New Feature Implementation
In recent years, it has become mainstream to use 3D CAD tools from the design stage, especially in the automotive and office automation industries. Accordingly, the number of quotation requests received with 3D CAD drawings has been increasing. On the other hand, conventional 2D CAD drawings are still widely used, and the manufacturing industry is currently in a situation where '2D and 3D drawings are mixed.'

In this situation, manufacturing sites have to switch between software to check drawings and search for data, or even redraw 3D CAD into 2D drawings, making it difficult to concentrate on the essential tasks of quotation and drawing management. Furthermore, the license fees for specialized software are often a significant burden.

In response to these changes in the industry, we have received the following requests from Takumi Force users.

Based on this feedback, we have updated the similar drawing search function in 'Takumi Force' to support 3D CAD, enabling the management and search of both 2D and 3D drawings on the same platform, so that everyone on site can focus on the work they should really be doing.

## Function Details
In this function, AI analyzes the product information of a 3D CAD drawing and automatically searches for and displays past 3D CAD drawing files with similar shapes.

3D CAD drawings can be registered by uploading the files, just like conventional 2D CAD drawings.
Registered 3D CAD drawings can be displayed from the list screen or the quotation input screen, and by using the 'Similar File Search' function, it is possible to refer to past 3D CAD drawings with similar shapes and the product information and quotation information associated with them.

## What This Function Achieves
