Takashimaya Launches 'Digital Points' Service on Takashimaya App – Available at Stores and Online from September 16, 2026

Takashimaya Co., Ltd. will launch a new 'Digital Points' service on its official app, the 'Takashimaya App,' starting Wednesday, September 16, 2026. This service will replace the existing plastic point cards, allowing customers to check and use their points conveniently through a single smartphone, both in-store and on the online store.

Service Overview

'Digital Points' is a point service available for registration and use within the Takashimaya App (no membership or annual fee). One point is earned for every 100 yen (excluding tax) spent per item, and each point is worth 1 yen for future use.

The points can be used seamlessly not only at all Takashimaya stores but also on the Takashimaya Online Store, TBEAUT (a dedicated cosmetics site), and various e-commerce sites under Takashimaya Fashion Square (※). Registration is available via the Takashimaya App or the online store.

Transition to 'Digital Points' for Existing Members

With the launch of 'Digital Points' on the Takashimaya App on September 16, customers currently using the 'Takashimaya Point Card' (plastic card) must complete the switch (transfer of existing points) via the app by Tuesday, September 15, at 10:00 PM.

Steps to Switch to Digital Points / Transfer Existing Points (Main Process)

By 10:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15, please complete the following steps ① to ④:

- Download the 'Takashimaya App' and complete membership registration - From the My Page, tap 'Register Takashimaya Point Card' - Enter your 'Takashimaya Point Card' number and date of birth - Completion of 'Takashimaya Point Card' registration

From Wednesday, September 16 onward, please complete the following steps ⑤ to ⑥:

- Launch the 'Takashimaya App' - Follow the on-screen guide to complete the switch to 'Digital Points'

Important Notes

- After the switch is completed, the plastic card will no longer be usable. - If you do not register your point card on the app by 10:00 PM on September 15 (i.e., steps ① to ④ are not completed), you will not be able to switch (transfer points) after September 16. - If you choose not to switch to Digital Points, you may continue using the plastic card, but point balance checks will only be available via receipts.

Campaign Information

To commemorate the launch of this service, the following campaigns will be held:

(1) [Registration Bonus] For: All customers

Receive 100 points upon app registration or linking of an existing 'Digital Points' account! (One-time per customer)

(2) [Lottery Campaign] For: Members of the 'Takashimaya Point Card' (plastic card) who meet the campaign eligibility criteria

※ Campaign eligibility: Takashimaya Point Card members who meet both of the following conditions:

- Registered the 'Takashimaya Point Card' (plastic card) on the 'Takashimaya App' by 10:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15 - Completed the switch to 'Digital Points' by launching the 'Takashimaya App' between Wednesday, September 16 and Saturday, October 31

Among customers who complete the switch to Digital Points during the 'Digital Points Switch Campaign' period, 500 winners will be randomly selected to receive 500 points each!

'Digital Points Switch Campaign' Period: September 16 (Wed) – October 31 (Sat)

※ Winning customers will have the bonus points credited to their 'Takashimaya Digital Points' account in late November. The point credit will serve as notification of winning.
