Takara Tomy Arts Co., Ltd., a member of the Takara Tomy Group, will launch 32 plush toys and other related merchandise for Disney & Pixar's latest film, 'Toy Story 5,' which is scheduled for release in Japan on Friday, July 3, 2026. These items will be available sequentially from Saturday, June 20, 2026, at specialty toy and general merchandise stores, mass retailers, and online shops nationwide. Additionally, Gacha® (capsule toys) will be released from June at capsule vending machines nationwide, and candy toys will be available at confectionery sections nationwide.

As 'Toy Story 5' related products, Takara Tomy Arts will develop new items from its core businesses: "plush toys," "Gacha," and "candy toys." The lineup will feature not only familiar characters from the series but also new characters appearing in 'Toy Story 5,' aiming to offer products that allow people to enjoy the movie's world in their daily lives.

A total of 32 plush toys will be available. Since its launch in 2025, the 'Petit Pop' series has featured numerous Disney & Pixar characters. Along with Takara Tomy Arts' long-selling plush toy series 'Washable Beans Collection,' the lineup includes action plush toys that offer movement and sound, as well as general merchandise items designed for daily use. The 'Petit Pop' and 'Washable Beans Collection' are particularly popular due to recent plush toy trends, such as 'Nuikatsu,' where people carry plush toys, take photos, and collect them. These palm-sized items are easy to carry, attach to belongings, and enjoy on outings, making them a convenient part of daily life.

Furthermore, the lineup includes highly collectible "Gacha" and "candy toys" that enhance the fun of collecting, offering a product range that meets diverse needs. In addition, Takara Tomy is also planning to release 'Toy Story Real Size Talking Figures,' toy game series, Tomica, and Plarail, among other 'Toy Story 5' related products.
