Takagi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Izumi Takagi; hereinafter 'Takagi') is launching the 'LC Touchless Battery-powered' faucet-integrated water purifier, which can be installed without electrical work.

'LC Touchless Battery-powered' is a faucet-integrated water purifier equipped with a touchless function that allows water to flow or stop simply by waving your hand. By newly adopting a battery-powered system, the previously required 100V outlet is no longer necessary. This eliminates the need for electrical work, making it easier to install not only in new homes but also during renovations or when replacing existing kitchen faucets.

### Development Background
In recent years, the demand for touchless faucets has expanded due to increased hygiene awareness and the need for improved housework efficiency. The existing 'LC Touchless Outlet-powered' model has seen cumulative shipments exceeding 110,000 units since its launch in April 2022, and is used in many households.

However, the requirement for a 100V outlet for installation was sometimes a hurdle for adoption. To solve these issues, Takagi developed a battery-powered model that can be installed without electrical work even when an outlet is unavailable. By increasing the flexibility of installation, touchless faucets can now be used easily in more households.
