Taiheiyo Ferry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City, Meitetsu Group), which operates ferries between Nagoya, Sendai, and Tomakomai, will introduce "Ferry Wi-Fi" provided by KDDI Corporation and Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd.

This service utilizes Starlink, a high-speed and low-latency satellite communication, enabling high-speed internet communication of up to 220Mbps* even offshore where mobile phone signals have been difficult to reach.

The biggest feature of this service is that although it is a paid service, it can be used for "unlimited" within 24 hours from the start of connection. In addition, au users can use it for free.

You can enjoy a comfortable internet environment without worrying about time, just like on land, for watching videos, browsing SNS, and more.

The service will start on the ferry "Kitakami" from the departure on April 6, and will be sequentially introduced to "Ishikari" and "Kiso".
