Body: Tokyo, Japan — May 7, 2026 — Synology today announced the launch of the RS6426xs+, RS4826xs+, and RS3626xs. These next-generation models deliver the performance and reliability required for enterprise backup, data management, and large-scale virtualized storage.

Exceptional System Performance Optimized for Modern Enterprise Environments

The updated systems offer higher performance ceilings for modern enterprise workloads, featuring excellent write I/O responsiveness reaching up to 165,000 IOPS for the RS6426xs+, and achieving 135,000 IOPS and 115,000 IOPS for the RS4826xs+ and RS3626xs+ respectively*1. These units support petabyte-class scalability, with the RS6426xs+ expandable up to 1,536TB of raw storage*2 via four RX1225RP expansion units*3. All models also come standard with dual 10GbE ports, with optional upgrades to 25GbE or Fibre Channel*4 available.

To ensure high availability, the series supports hardware redundancy features such as dual power supplies, and Synology High Availability (SHA) for failover in minutes. Maintenance is also streamlined with hot-swappable drives and online volume expansion, while out-of-band (OOB) management allows administrators to remotely troubleshoot the system even when it's powered off.

Storage efficiency is further optimized through automatic data tiering, intelligently moving active data to high-performance drives and inactive data to high-capacity storage. This system automates the balance between performance and capacity, eliminating the need for manual data management while maintaining peak operational efficiency.

Availability
