Super Hotel Co., Ltd. (Location: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Kensaku Yamamoto), which operates 180 hotels in Japan and overseas with the concept of "Natural, Organic, Smart," announces that on Monday, March 9, 2026, it has been certified as a "Health Management Excellent Corporation 2026 (Large Corporations Division)" jointly operated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council.

This is Super Hotel's third consecutive year being certified as a "Health Management Excellent Corporation" since 2024. Furthermore, our relentless investment in "Health Management" was recognized for contributing to organizational revitalization and productivity improvement, resulting in a comprehensive evaluation score that improved by more than 6 points from the previous year.

■ About the Health Management Excellent Corporation Certification System

The Health Management Excellent Corporation Certification System is a system established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in fiscal year 2016 with the aim of creating an environment where corporations practicing particularly excellent health management, such as large and small/medium enterprises, can be recognized by employees, job seekers, related companies, and financial institutions by "visualizing" them.

Based on the evaluation criteria established by the Health Management Promotion Study Group (jointly held by the Japan Health Council's Health Management/Health Declaration 150,000 Company WG), the Japan Health Council certifies "Health Management Excellent Corporations."

In this 10th iteration, 3,765 corporations in the "Large Corporations Division" and 23,085 corporations in the "Small and Medium-sized Corporations Division" were certified as "Health Management Excellent Corporations 2026."

■ Super Hotel's Initiatives with a Particular Focus

Prevention, Early Detection, and Response to Stress-Related Illnesses such as Mental Health Issues

Since hotel staff work in customer service and operate on a shift system, risks of stress-related illnesses, such as maintaining a regular lifestyle rhythm, are anticipated. In response, Super Hotel actively implements measures, believing it is important to first thoroughly understand the mental health status of staff to reduce these risks, and then to address individual issues.

For example, through activities to promote understanding of the significance of stress checks and encourage participation, we have achieved a sustained 100% participation rate. The results of the stress checks, including stress levels, perceptions of the organization, and differences between locations in relationships with supervisors, are thoroughly reviewed and shared with management. Based on this, management analyzes the data, discusses concrete countermeasures, and appropriately confirms management status, makes personnel changes as needed, and continuously monitors the situation after transfers, thereby successfully minimizing the occurrence of employees taking leave.

Promotion of Communication Among Employees

Super Hotel believes that improving staff engagement directly leads to the quality of services provided to customers, and therefore considers fostering internal connections and communication where staff can support and inspire each other to be a crucial element. However, opportunities for interaction are naturally limited due to shift work systems, etc.

To promote interaction, we hold various sports events and company-wide sports days that include both staff and management. The establishment of a preparation committee for the company-wide sports day has fostered inter-departmental exchange and invigorated internal communication.

Super Hotel believes that in order to deliver "everyday inspiration" to customers, it is essential for the staff who provide the services to be healthy in mind and body and to feel a sense of fulfillment in their work. Encouraged by this certification, we will continue to position health management as a key management issue, invest in promoting staff health, and strive for the realization of a sustainable society and further improvement of customer satisfaction.
