Seminar Overview *This seminar is a rebroadcast of a highly acclaimed previous seminar.

Perovskite solar cells have been researched for many years as "next-generation solar cells." In recent years, with improvements in conversion efficiency and advancements in manufacturing technology, they are moving towards a stage where practical application is realistically in sight.

However, it is difficult to grasp the following points solely from news and fragmented information:

・To what extent has the technology advanced? ・What is already possible, and what remains a challenge? ・What are the fundamental barriers to industrial use?

In this seminar, Dr. Tsutomu Miyasaka, Specially Appointed Professor at Toin University of Yokohama, Faculty of Medical Engineering, and the inventor of perovskite solar cells, will take the stage. He will systematically explain the current technological level and achievements, as well as the challenges envisioned for future practical application and industrial deployment, based on the history of his research.

If you missed the initial broadcast or are interested in this field, please take this opportunity to participate.

Recommended for those who: Want to grasp the overall picture, not just fragmented information. Want to organize the "expectations" and "reality" of perovskite solar cells. Want to confirm the distance between research results and practical application. Want to understand next-generation solar cells as material for future technology selection/business decisions.
