**The STEM female community Wom-tech, in collaboration with Asahi Kasei Corporation and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., will hold the first "Corporate Networking Event for STEM University Students," an interactive event targeting university students studying in STEM fields, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, around Tokyo Station.**

**In this event, in addition to reporting the results of company visits conducted as a PoC (Proof of Concept) for "STEM GATE"—a program that connects female STEM university students and companies through "empathy"—a panel discussion and networking session by young employees from both companies will be held.**

**※ STEM is an acronym for "Science," "Technology," "Engineering," and "Mathematics," and is drawing attention as a field that nurtures the ability to discover and solve social issues, as well as the ability to create new value.**

### **■ Background of the Event**
With internships positioned as part of recruitment activities starting in the 2025 fiscal year, opportunities for university students to gather information without being conscious of evaluations from companies are gradually decreasing. Considering this background, Wom-tech planned the program "STEM GATE," which allows female STEM students prior to job hunting to casually think about careers and companies, and conducted a PoC this time.

In this program, we provide an opportunity for students to share what they felt based on experiences such as company visits, and to deepen their understanding of work and careers without worrying about evaluations through dialogues with working adults at companies.
