Background of Establishment In the automotive industry, with the advancement of ADAS, autonomous driving, and SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) technologies, the role of lamp systems has evolved from mere illumination to sophisticated electronic control devices. To adapt to these changes in the market environment, Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation reached a basic agreement in November 2024 to establish a joint venture for next-generation lamp system businesses, and subsequently signed an integration agreement in April 2025.

This joint venture will primarily be responsible for the development, design, manufacturing, and sales of electronic and control components that constitute next-generation automotive lamp systems, maximizing the synergy between Stanley Electric Co., Ltd.'s optical control system technology, which contributes to safety and security through automotive lamps, and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation's advanced control system technology.

Moving forward, Stanley Mobility Electric Co., Ltd. will create new value through the fusion of both companies' technologies and contribute to improving the safety and functionality of next-generation vehicles.
