Background for the New Opening of a "Theme Park for Spending Time with Beloved Dogs" in the Rich Nature of Koishiwara, Toho Village

Utilizing the former school grounds surrounded by the beautiful nature of Koishiwara, Toho Village, Fukuoka Prefecture, a new experiential theme park for beloved dogs, "THE DOG CAMPUS -KOISHIWARA-", will be born.

In recent years, the demand for traveling with pets, who are considered "family members" rather than just animals to be kept, has been increasing nationwide. However, there is still a shortage of "experiential facilities where owners can spend a satisfying day with their beloved dogs." Therefore, leveraging the production capabilities of the glampark brand "glampark", we have newly constructed a complex dog theme park that goes beyond mere accommodation, offering both overnight stays and day trips for "playing, relaxing, and connecting" with beloved dogs.

Accommodation & Day Trip Facilities for Large Dogs Prepared

While many pet-friendly accommodation facilities have restrictions up to "medium-sized dogs," this facility has been developed as "a facility where large dogs can also stay." This allows us to offer a comfortable stay to owners who have given up on travel because they own large dogs.

While retaining the vestiges of the school building, we will create a stress-free sleeping environment for both dogs and their owners.

Shade Tents

Stylish large tents will be set up next to the dog run, providing shade and a place to relax.

Grand Camping (Ground Camping) Area

A new area will be developed for easy day-trip BBQ and outdoor experiences.

Glamping Domes

Dome tents will be arranged. This accommodation style allows guests to step out of the dome directly into the vast nature and dog run.

Dogs will show lively expressions as they overcome steps and hurdles with the agility equipment, as if it were an attraction.

Future Prospects and Thoughts on Regional Coexistence

"THE DOG CAMPUS -KOISHIWARA-" aims to create a community where dog lovers can gather, learn, and interact with local residents. We will sequentially develop experiential content in collaboration with local industries, such as workshops for making dog food bowls using "Koishiwara ware," a local specialty, and developing dog menu items using local game meat (such as venison).

While preserving the traditions and rich nature of Koishiwara, Toho Village, we will contribute to regional revitalization as a tourist hub loved by many dog travelers. We are diligently preparing for the new opening of this facility in late July 2026.
