Today, we endorse April 1st as "April Dream," a day to share dreams. This press release represents the goals and dreams of "Splink Inc."
In a super-aging society where people live to be 100 years old, our company aims to make "brain healthcare" a global standard, creating a new lifestyle where individuals can live authentically and maintain connections with others even at 100 years old.
Our Vision for "Brain Healthcare"
"Brain healthcare" is a concept that refers to activities and conditions aimed at maintaining and improving brain health. It signifies an attitude and aspiration to achieve a state where all physical, mental, and social aspects are fulfilled, re-evaluating daily life and choices from the perspective of brain health.
Splink's corporate mission is to popularize and embed this concept of "making brain healthcare a global standard" into society. In addition to our current core initiatives addressing neurological disorders in the elderly such as dementia and Parkinson's disease, we will also contribute to realizing a society where prevention, early detection, treatment, and coexistence are possible for mental illnesses such as depression and schizophrenia.
Splink's Past Initiatives
Facing the global challenge of a 100-year life span, we have been committed to delivering Japanese scientific technology to the world and building the foundation to make "brain healthcare a global standard."
At the core of this is our unique proprietary technology that precisely visualizes brain conditions, enabling early detection and diagnostic support for diseases. Since our founding, we have refined this scientific technology, established intellectual property including patents, and promoted an IP strategy with international expansion in mind. These efforts have received high evaluations both domestically and internationally, including awards from the United Nations WIPO and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award for Intellectual Property Contribution), and selection for the Japanese government's startup support program "J-Startup," as contributions to the development of Japanese medical and scientific technology.
Based on these core technologies and IP foundation, we have developed a product lineup that consistently supports everything from cognitive function visualization to diagnostic assistance. Through multiple product lines such as "CQ test," "Brain Life Imaging," and "BRAINEER series," we have built a foundation for quantifying brain health throughout the process from prevention to diagnosis.
By expanding this foundation into society, we aim to establish a "new standard of prevention" where everyone can detect diseases like dementia early, and live appropriately while facing aging and illness. We believe this is a sure step towards realizing a dementia-free society.
Comment from Yuki Aoyama, Representative Director of Splink Inc.
As we enter an era of 100-year lifespans, the question is not just "living long," but how to create a society where people can live authentically until the very end. We are confronting this question head-on.
The key to this is "brain healthcare," which scientifically visualizes brain health and allows it to be nurtured in daily life.
Through my involvement in medical and research fields, I have heard countless voices from patients and their families saying, "If only we had noticed sooner," or "If only we had addressed it sooner."
That's why we want to transform brain health from something to be dealt with "after getting sick" into something that is naturally conscious, protected, and nurtured in daily life.
Until now, we have been working to "visualize" brain conditions based on scientific evidence through cognitive function visualization and AI analysis of brain MRI, thereby enabling early detection and connection to medical care.
And from now on, our goal is to embed brain health management ("brain healthcare") into society not as something special, but as a "new standard of prevention" that everyone can engage with in their daily lives.
Towards a society where people can live authentically and maintain connections with others, even at 100 years old.
To make the future envisioned in this April Dream a reality, not just a dream, and to implement it as a tangible society. This is the mission that Splink continues to challenge.
