Spiral Low-CAS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Hidenori Nakajima, hereinafter Spiral Low-CAS) announces that its communication system for educational sites, "Suguru," has been selected as a target for joint procurement by the "Tokyo GIGA School Promotion Council."

This procurement will be conducted by the Council, established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Education, as the "FY2026 Tokyo Metropolitan Public Schools Parent Communication Tool Joint Procurement."

Following this selection, "Suguru" is scheduled to be officially introduced as a "Parent Communication Tool" to the municipalities participating in the procurement. ■ Background Public schools in Tokyo have integrated school support systems that differ by ward, city, and town, requiring teachers to adapt to new systems with each transfer. This environment contributes to the workload, and voices from the educational field indicate difficulty in securing time to focus on students. To alleviate such burdens and promote work style reform, the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education has formulated the "Policy for Commonization of Next-Generation School Support DX Environment."

Under this policy, the Tokyo GIGA School Promotion Council is promoting the joint procurement of school support systems and peripheral tools. By having municipalities within the prefecture collaborate to introduce common digital services, the aim is to achieve cost reductions that are difficult with individual procurement, as well as to reduce the workload of teachers.

For this joint procurement, a rigorous review was conducted following the release of the Request for Information (RFI) in August 2025 and the bidding process in January 2026. As a result, Spiral Low-CAS's "Suguru" was selected as the "Parent Communication Tool," and preparations for its introduction to the participating municipalities are currently underway.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Education (October 1, 2025) "Accelerating Teacher Work Style Reform with the Power of Digital! ~The Nationwide "Next-Generation School Support DX Project," the Largest Scale Ever, Launches~" https://www.kyoiku.metro.tokyo.lg.jp/information/press/2025/10/2025100101 (Reference: March 26, 2026) ■ About "Suguru"

"Suguru" is one of the services that make up the information sharing solution "Locas" provided by our company, and it is a communication system for educational sites that supports "teacher work style reform" and "school building in collaboration with the community."

By centrally managing various daily communication tasks that occur at schools, it reduces the burden on teachers and parents. It also promotes the establishment of a collaborative system with community collaborators and the advancement of community-school collaboration activities.

The system features a wealth of implementation実績 (track record) in municipalities nationwide, as well as compatibility with multiple school support systems widely used in educational sites across the country. Since it can handle tasks such as absence/tardiness notifications and synchronization of student information data, the barrier to implementation in the field is low, and it is utilized regardless of the scale of the municipality.
