To create the fastest gravel wheel in Roval history, the Terra Aero CLX development team digitally verified over 300 rim shapes.

Unlike road wheels, gravel wheels are often paired with thick, high-volume tires and ridden at relatively lower speeds through turbulent wind, requiring stability and predictable handling. Therefore, Roval prioritized not just pure air resistance, but also behavior at complex yaw angles, evaluating aerodynamic performance while actually mounted with gravel tires.
