SpaceData Launches "Next-Generation Resilience Platform" Integrating Situation Understanding, Crisis Assessment, and Future Prediction

SpaceData Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Koyo Sato; hereinafter "SpaceData") is pleased to announce the launch of its "Next-Generation Resilience Platform." This initiative is based on world-leading expertise in digital twin technology, physical AI, generative AI, and robotics, and follows policy dialogues with industry-academia experts, including startups specializing in advanced technologies, university professors, researchers, and entrepreneurs leading research in various fields.

This platform is an ecosystem that integrates three functions: "Information (Site)" to support understanding of domestic and global situations, "Insight (Report)" responsible for crisis assessment and future prediction, and "Dialogue (Study Group)" where industry and academic leaders share their wisdom.

Background and Purpose of Launch

Modern society faces complex risks that cannot be explained by a single cause, such as frequent large-scale disasters due to climate change, rising geopolitical tensions, risks of supply chain disruptions, and anxieties about energy and resource supply. These risks cannot be adequately addressed by individual measures alone, requiring a comprehensive, cross-domain perspective and mechanisms to quickly detect changes and preemptively respond.

While promoting businesses that widely and precisely reproduce the Earth's environment through planetary-scale digital twin technology and AI technology, SpaceData has been operating the "Economic Security Study Group" with industry-academia experts, focusing on ensuring the autonomy of economic structures. Through this, they have identified complex risks and formulated risk scenarios from various perspectives, including supply chains, foundational technologies, infrastructure, and energy.

Based on the knowledge and discussions from these study groups and other industry-academia collaborations, this platform aims to evolve from static records into a "dynamic execution foundation" that functions daily. It is launched as a foundation to translate accumulated knowledge into "action" and aims to transition to a phase of supporting society.

Main Functions and Activities

1. Exclusive Information: Dissemination of Domestic and Global Situations

Integrating various information sources, we will exclusively deliver information on themes related to domestic and global situations, such as geopolitical trends, precursors to large-scale disasters, and risks of resource and logistics stagnation.

2. Exclusive Insights: Intelligence to Decipher the Future

Integrating knowledge from multiple fields, we will exclusively disseminate insight reports that consider potential risk scenarios and their countermeasures.

3. Study Group: Gathering of Knowledge by Industry-Government-Academia Leaders

We will exclusively host study groups (on-site and live-streamed) involving leaders from diverse specialized fields such as economic security, energy, supply chains, urban infrastructure, and finance.

As a membership-based platform, we will co-create an open learning environment where volunteers with specialized knowledge and resilience, and members who will become next-generation leaders, gather.
