SORABITO Inc. (CEO: Kazuaki Hakata, hereinafter "SORABITO") will participate as a support company in "Ruyne Base," a Hokkaido Construction DX Community to be established on April 1, 2026, with Iwata Chizaki Construction Co., Ltd., Rentacom Hokkaido Co., Ltd., and NTT East Corporation Hokkaido Business Headquarters as organizers. SORABITO will contribute to solving issues such as labor shortages and aging workforces, and to the sustainable development of Hokkaido's construction industry, by providing DX solutions including the paperless implementation of inspection operations at construction sites.

Background of Participation The construction industry in Hokkaido faces a dual challenge of an aging workforce and severe labor shortages, in addition to regional characteristics such as a widely dispersed society and snowy, cold climate. In the "Three-Company Partnership Agreement" concluded in July 2022 by Iwata Chizaki Construction, Rentacom Hokkaido, and NTT East, various demonstrations have been promoted, including the utilization of drones, IoT, AI, and 3D data, aimed at improving productivity through ICT utilization and fostering ICT engineers. Based on the results of these three years of demonstrations, the new community "Ruyne Base" will be established with the aim of spreading DX throughout the Hokkaido construction industry. SORABITO, with its vision of "co-creating an ecosystem for working machinery" and a proven track record in promoting DX in construction and civil engineering sites, has decided to participate in this community as a support company.

SORABITO's Role in the Community SORABITO will primarily contribute to Ruyne Base in the following ways: - DX transformation of construction site operations such as inspection tasks and safety documents: Supporting paperless operations and AI utilization for various documents, including paper forms generated after the start of a construction project and inspection tasks, thereby enhancing the efficiency of inspection and safety operations and centralizing record management. - Participation in Robot/Drone WG and other groups: Technical development and knowledge sharing through working group activities within the community. - Presentations and case studies at ICT exchange meetings: Introducing the latest solutions as a support company at regular exchange meetings and study sessions. - Responding to development requests: Consolidating on-site needs from construction companies in Hokkaido and promoting service improvements and new feature development tailored to site requirements.

Comment from SORABITO Chairman, Takayuki Aoki "We sincerely welcome the establishment of 'Ruyne Base.' I am confident that this initiative, where Hokkaido construction companies and construction tech companies collaborate to powerfully promote DX at sites to address the severe labor shortage facing the construction industry, will be a major step forward in pioneering the industry's future. Our company, with its vision of 'co-creating an ecosystem for working machinery,' supports improving site productivity through DX in the industry. Through the activities of this community, we will contribute to realizing 'smart sites' where young people aspire to work. We look forward to co-creating a new standard for the construction industry from Hokkaido."
