Sony Network Communications Launches RenaX Rehabilitation DX Brand

Sony Network Communications will launch its new rehabilitation DX brand 'RenaX' in June 2026. Building on the 'Prediction One for Rehabilitation' prognostic AI introduced in July 2025, the brand will offer expanded services including generative AI document support and therapist shift optimization. RenaX helps hospitals adapt to the FY2026 medical fee revision by achieving over 92% AUC accuracy in predicting patient independence for walking/wheelchair and toileting tasks upon discharge. This high-precision prediction helps optimize patient targeting and therapy plans. The underlying ADL prediction AI has already been adopted by 30 hospitals nationwide within a year of launch, helping ease therapists' workloads and ensure sustainable hospital management. Sony aims to accelerate technology development through group collaborations.
