Sony Network Communications Inc. (hereinafter "the Company"), provider of the network service brand "NURO," will host a 3D experiential booth utilizing Sony Group technology at the "CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026" (hereinafter "CENTRAL"), an urban music festival held in Yokohama from April 3 to April 5, 2026. Through a collaboration with artist Chanmina, who appears in the "NURO" commercial series, a giant 3D version of Chanmina will appear at K-Arena Yokohama, alongside other content that allows visitors to experience the fusion of music festivals and technology. "NURO" has served as an official sponsor of "CENTRAL" for two consecutive years since 2025, providing network lines and supporting communication environments across four venues in the Yokohama Minato Mirai area and for various online streams. Additionally, in partnership with the YouTube channel "THE FIRST TAKE," the event will be exclusively live-streamed worldwide as "CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026 / THE FIRST TAKE Powered by NURO." At its booth in the K-Arena Yokohama special venue, "NURO" will offer two experiential contents using 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), a cutting-edge technology that pursues overwhelming realism, and XR technology to recreate a "3D Chanmina." 1. AR Experience: "Super-Sized" 3D Chanmina Appears! A giant 3D Chanmina will appear in immersive AR at K-Arena Yokohama. By holding their smartphones up through the "XR CHANNEL" app, visitors can enjoy an augmented reality experience where a 3D Chanmina appears in the real world. The performance features 3D Chanmina greeting "CENTRAL" attendees at K-Arena Yokohama with a finger heart. 2. Naked-Eye 3D Experience: Meet the "Super-Realistic" Chanmina! A photorealistic 3D Chanmina will emerge on a large display installed within the "NURO" booth, providing the surprise of feeling as if she were actually there. Thanks to Sony Group technology, visitors can enjoy three-dimensional images on a standard display without the need for devices like VR goggles. Furthermore, "NURO" will present a limited quantity of "Don't Stop the Excitement." pop-up cards to booth visitors, allowing them to enjoy a 3D sensation in their own hands. Additionally, a large visual display spanning approximately 30 meters, decorated with the world of the "NURO" commercial series, will be posted on the path leading to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse special venue. Please enjoy the message from "NURO" to the "CENTRAL" attendees. This year, the internet connection service "So-net," also provided by the Company, will sponsor "CENTRAL" and host a booth at the K-Arena Yokohama special venue. The booth will feature the "Nogizaka46 x So-net Exhibition," showcasing costumes worn by five members of Nogizaka46 who appear in "So-net" commercials: Sakura Endo, Haruka Kaki, Teresa Ikeda, Nagi Inoue, and Sakura Kawasaki. Visitors to the "So-net" booth will have a chance to win one of 1,000 original Nogizaka46 stickers via a lottery. "NURO," together with "So-net," will continue to support various entertainment fields such as music, anime, and games...
