Sazae-san Asahigaoka Super Event at Sogo Chiba Store for Anime's 55th Anniversary

The Sazae-san Asahigaoka Super event will be held at the 6th-floor event hall of Sogo Chiba Store from April 21 to May 6, 2026, operating from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (closing at 5:00 PM on the final day). This event celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Sazae-san TV anime, which began broadcasting in October 1969. Approximately 350 Sazae-san merchandise items will be available, including limited-edition products and 55th-anniversary commemorative goods. Featured collaborations include NEW ERA® (Tama bucket hat: 8,580 JPY, Tama Hachi cap: kids 4,950 JPY, adult 6,050 JPY) and Kitamura (Key Case: 13,000 JPY, Lodge Bag: 68,000 JPY, limited quantity). Other items include a pocket tote bag (2,200 JPY), Imabari face towel (1,870 JPY), Imabari hand towel (770 JPY), Tenugui (950 JPY), and Rice Resin Mugs (4 types, 1,040 JPY each). A special offer provides an original postcard for purchases over 3,000 JPY (limited to the first 50 customers daily). Sazae-san character appearances are scheduled for April 26, April 29, and May 5, 2026, at noon and 2:00 PM, with each session limited to 20 groups. The event also features an Isono family model exhibit, a Sazae-san quiz, and photo spots.
