Snowflake and Anthropic Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption Amid Rising Demand for Governed AI

Snowflake and Anthropic have defined a new way for enterprises to leverage AI while maintaining governance over their data. By utilizing Claude within Snowflake Cortex AI, they enable the scalable deployment of reliable, production-ready AI agents.

Driving Enterprise Adoption: The partnership between Snowflake and Anthropic is expanding rapidly, with adoption by numerous companies including Basis, Block, Carvana, eSentire, Indeed, and Notion.

Reliable Enterprise AI: Snowflake Cortex AI allows Anthropic's models to be used securely on data within Snowflake while maintaining governance. This provides enterprise-grade security, observability, and scalability for AI.

Deepening Co-Innovation: The companies are further strengthening joint innovation across the entire Snowflake Cortex AI suite, including Snowflake CoCo (formerly Snowflake Cortex Code) and Snowflake CoWork (formerly Snowflake Intelligence), as well as Claude Marketplace and security-focused development workflows.

Snowflake and Anthropic announced significant progress in their strategic partnership at Snowflake Summit 26. They are helping enterprises move quickly from the AI experimentation phase to production use.

Following the partnership expansion announced in December 2025, Claude models have been directly integrated into Cortex AI across all major cloud platforms, establishing a joint go-to-market strategy. They are currently enabling global enterprises to deploy AI agents on their most critical business data.

Anthropic provides the latest AI model capabilities through Claude, while Snowflake optimizes Claude for enterprise use. Customers can select the best Anthropic models for their needs without moving sensitive data outside of Snowflake.

Christian Kleinerman, Senior Vice President of Product at Snowflake, stated, "Customers are demanding AI that functions directly on their governed data rather than in isolated systems.
