Guidelines for the 4th Call for Applications for the "SME New Business Entry Promotion Project" Have Been Released

The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan (SMRJ) (President: Tadashi Miyakawa, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) today published the guidelines for the 4th call for applications for the "SME New Business Entry Promotion Project," which is entrusted to and implemented by a consortium led by Hakuhodo Inc.

Project Overview

The New Business Entry Subsidy supports challenges by SMEs and other entities that are proactively venturing into businesses different from their existing ones, and are eager to enter new markets or high-value-added businesses.

Applications are scheduled to open on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and close at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026. For more details, please visit the New Business Entry Subsidy Secretariat website.

Please note that obtaining a "G-Biz ID Prime Account" is required to apply for this project. Since it takes a certain period to obtain an ID, those who have not yet obtained one are requested to proceed with the G-Biz ID Prime Account acquisition process.
