Independent Administrative Agency Organization for Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (Chairman: Masashi Miyagawa, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) (hereinafter referred to as 'SMRJ') has today launched 'Labor Saving Navi,' a support site providing hints for taking the first step towards labor saving and productivity improvement. This initiative is in line with the 'Labor Saving Investment Promotion Plan' compiled by the Cabinet Secretariat and aims to address challenges such as labor shortages and wage increases faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small businesses, in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency and relevant ministries.
'Labor Saving Navi' intuitively illustrates industry-specific challenges and their solutions with easy-to-understand diagrams, and provides specific case studies and consultation information in a one-stop manner.
It can also be utilized as a support tool by regional support organizations such as industry associations, chambers of commerce, credit associations, federations of SME organizations, financial institutions, and Yorozu Support Centers (including productivity improvement support centers), for use in dialogues with businesses and during accompanying support, in addition to SMEs and small businesses.
Labor Saving Navi
This is a website where SMEs and small businesses can intuitively grasp solutions and know-how for labor saving and productivity improvement through easy-to-understand illustrations, free of charge. By selecting operational concerns categorized by industry, such as the restaurant, accommodation, transportation, and manufacturing sectors, users can view solutions, specific examples, and actionable steps, as well as consultation contacts. It broadly supports efforts for everyone, from those unsure where to start to those who have already decided on candidate tools for implementation.
Utilizing 'Labor Saving Navi' will make it a bonus point requirement in the selection review for the 'SME Labor Saving Investment Subsidy (General Type)' and the 'Digitalization/AI Introduction Subsidy (excluding the multi-party collaboration digitalization/AI introduction slot),' and a priority requirement for the identification of the 'Labor Saving Investment Subsidy Project for Tourist Destinations and the Tourism Industry.'
