Making Labor Saving and Productivity Improvement More Accessible! "Labor-Saving Navi," which provides intuitive, industry-specific know-how, was released today.

The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (SME Support, Japan; Chairman: Tadashi Miyakawa; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) today launched the support site "Labor-Saving Navi" to provide hints for taking the first step toward labor saving and productivity improvement. This initiative is in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency and other relevant government agencies to implement the "Labor-Saving Investment Promotion Plan" compiled by the Cabinet Secretariat and to address issues faced by small and medium-sized enterprises, such as labor shortages and wage increases. "Labor-Saving Navi" uses easy-to-understand illustrations to present industry-specific challenges and their solutions, and provides concrete case studies and consultation information in a one-stop format. In addition to small and medium-sized enterprises, the site can also be utilized as a support tool by regional support organizations such as industry groups, chambers of commerce, federations of small business associations, financial institutions, and Yorozu support centers (including productivity improvement support centers) during dialogues with businesses and when providing hands-on support.

＜Labor-Saving Navi＞ This is a free and easy-to-use site where SMEs can intuitively grasp solutions and know-how for labor saving and productivity improvement through illustrations. By selecting an industry such as food service, lodging, transportation, or manufacturing, and choosing business-related concerns, users can see solutions, specific examples, and steps to take, as well as find information on where to seek advice. It supports a wide range of users, from those who don't know where to start to those who have already decided on a tool to implement. Utilizing "Labor-Saving Navi" is a requirement for additional points in the screening process for the "SME Labor-Saving Investment Subsidy (General Type)" and the "Digitalization/AI Introduction Subsidy (excluding the multi-party collaborative digitalization/AI introduction framework)". It is also a priority requirement for identification under the "Labor-Saving Investment Subsidy Program for Tourist Destinations and the Tourism Industry".
