CROSLAN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative: Atsushi Kawamura) has expanded the functions of SMILEVISA related to periodic notifications for Specified Skilled Workers and functions related to specified activities.
Supports Annual Periodic Notifications
Background of Functional Expansion for Periodic Notifications
Until March 2025, periodic notifications were required to be submitted quarterly. From April 2025 onwards, the submission frequency changed to once a year, significantly reducing the workload for businesses accepting Specified Skilled Workers. However, this change to annual submission has created a new challenge: the calculations for reporting a full year's worth of data have become extremely complex and cumbersome.
Specific Functions
SMILEVISA Periodic Notification Page
SMILEVISA not only automatically generates the new format for periodic notifications but also automatically extracts foreign staff subject to reporting, and performs automatic calculations for activity days, salary amounts, and complex bonuses/average raise rates. Furthermore, it can automatically identify necessary submission documents based on the accepting company's situation and display them in a list.
These functions eliminate the need for complex calculations and automatically display required documents, making periodic notification tasks easy to perform.
Further details will be announced on our website as they become available.

Added Application Form Creation Function for Multiple Specified Activities
Previously, SMILEVISA only supported the creation of certification applications, change applications, and renewal applications for Specified Skilled Worker No. 1 and No. 2. With this update, it is now possible to create change applications for specified activities aimed at preparing for the transition to Specified Skilled Worker status, as well as certification applications for specified activities for coming to Japan as an intern.
The creation method remains the same as before, using the familiar operation screen, allowing users to easily create application forms without special knowledge.
Response to the Administrative Scrivener Act Revision Effective January 2026
From January 2026, the revised Administrative Scrivener Act came into effect. From the perspective of legal risk and compliance, companies are now required to choose whether to handle document tasks, previously代行 by registered support organizations, in-house or to outsource them to specialists such as administrative scriveners.
By utilizing SMILEVISA, companies can easily and securely perform various tasks such as creating application forms and reports, and managing human resources in-house. Furthermore, we plan to sequentially expand functions to support all foreign workers employed by companies, not just Specified Skilled Workers.
We have a detailed explanation of the Administrative Scrivener Act revision on our company blog. You can view the blog article below.
