Smilegate Conducts Playtest for New Game 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames'

Mobile playtest to be held from June 4th (Thu) to June 9th (Tue), featuring main story and character training content ■ Pre-registration open: Get SSR 'Kiyomi Urushigawa' and exclusive rewards

Smilegate Megaport (hereinafter referred to as Smilegate) announced on June 4th (Thu) that it will conduct a playtest for the upcoming new title 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames,' currently under development by IANGAMES.

The playtest will be open to selected participants who applied in advance. It will run for six days, from June 4th (Thu) 11:00 to June 9th (Tue) 12:00, on iOS and Android mobile platforms.

Participants will be able to experience the game's main story content and character training features.

Pre-registration for 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' is currently open.

Users who complete pre-registration on the official website will receive the SSR character 'Kiyomi Urushigawa.' In addition, pre-registered users will also receive an exclusive profile frame and title.

Furthermore, users who share pre-registration information on social media will receive additional 'Character Recruitment Tickets' and 'Energy.'

Smilegate also held an offline event in Shimokitazawa on April 11th (Sat), where it premiered actual gameplay footage of 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' and interacted with fans.

During the event, details about the game were revealed, and a talk show was held featuring the original author, Shizumu Watanabe, as well as voice actors Ai Fairouz (voice of Kiyomi Urushigawa) and Machico (voice of Hiyori Haishima).

'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' is a 'team roguelite' genre game that combines character collection and training elements, based on the original manga 'Dead Account.'

The game faithfully reproduces the original story and world view, providing the unique appeal of the work as a gaming experience.

It is currently being developed for cross-platform play on mobile and PC (STOVE).

The original 'Dead Account' manga began serialization in 2023, authored by Shizumu Watanabe, known for works such as 'Real Account' and 'Trick for the Witch.' The story follows protagonist 'Sori Enjo,' who teams up with companions at Yaden Academy to exorcise ghosts born from the digitization of the deceased's SNS accounts.

The work has garnered attention for its relevance to modern society and thrilling battle action, attracting strong interest from a wide range of readers, especially among the youth.
