Explaining Systems SMEs Can Use Immediately: 'Subsidy and Grant Utilization Seminar 2026 in Chiba' to be held on Tuesday, June 30

The Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuaki Ishiguro) will hold the 'Subsidy and Grant Utilization Seminar 2026 in Chiba' on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Chiba City Lifelong Learning Center. This seminar will explain the subsidies and grants that SMEs should know about now, as labor and material costs continue to rise, covering everything from how to identify applicable systems to practical know-how for ensuring successful applications.

Recently, an increasing number of companies are facing financial pressure due to rising labor and material costs. In this environment, the national and local governments have prepared numerous support systems to encourage SME recruitment, wage increases, and capital investment. However, the reality is that the majority of companies are failing to utilize these valuable systems due to reasons such as 'not knowing which ones apply to them,' 'finding the application process too difficult,' or 'not knowing who to consult.' In fact, only 5.5% of companies are successfully utilizing subsidies and grants, creating a serious information gap where many SMEs miss out on support they are entitled to.

To bridge this gap, this seminar will explain selected subsidies and grants for SMEs. Having held over 100 lectures nationwide last year with over 9,000 participating companies, this event will now be held in Chiba.
