General Incorporated Association Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuaki Ishiguro) will hold the "Subsidy and Grant Utilization Seminar 2026 in Gifu" at the Gifu Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 14:30 to 16:30. In this seminar, we will comprehensively explain everything from how SMEs can find applicable subsidy and grant programs they should know about amidst soaring labor and raw material costs, to practical know-how for successfully passing applications.

Lecture on the latest information regarding subsidy and grant programs that reduce management costs for SMEs

Recently, an increasing number of companies are experiencing management pressure due to soaring labor costs, raw material costs, and other expenses. In this situation, national and local governments offer numerous support programs to encourage hiring, wage increases, and capital investment for small and medium-sized enterprises. However, the reality is that the majority of companies are unable to utilize these valuable programs due to reasons such as "cannot determine which ones are applicable to our company," "application seems difficult and daunting," or "don't even know who to consult." In fact, only a mere 5.5% of companies are utilizing subsidies and grants, leading to a serious information gap where many SMEs are missing out on support they could otherwise receive.

To alleviate this disparity, this seminar will explain carefully selected subsidies and grants for small and medium-sized corporations. Last year, we conducted over 100 lectures nationwide, with more than 9,000 participants, and this time it will be held in Gifu City. We will provide concrete measures that can be implemented immediately after the seminar, taking into account future trends and regional information for Gifu Prefecture.
