SmartDrive Announces Sustainability Initiatives for 2026-2027

SmartDrive Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Retsu Kitagawa; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which provides services utilizing mobility data, announces its sustainability initiatives to be implemented in 2026-2027.

Since its establishment in 2013, the Company has upheld the vision of "accelerating the evolution of mobility" and has consistently strived to contribute to society through the field of mobility. Following milestones such as its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in 2022, the Company is actively promoting various activities, including contributing to environmental preservation and accident reduction through its mobility data utilization business, as well as supporting sports and other activities that enrich people's lives.

As part of its sustainability initiatives through business, based on the cloud-based vehicle management system "SmartDrive Fleet," the Company contributes to decarbonization efforts in various ways. These include promoting safe driving and improving eco-driving for client companies, leading to CO2 emission reductions from gasoline vehicles, and facilitating the shift to EVs by optimizing charging through mobility data. This fiscal year, we will continue to enhance our business-driven sustainability initiatives.

Beyond business-related activities, we will continue to support TOKYO DIME, a 3x3 professional basketball team that has been active since 2022 with the slogan "From Shibuya to the World!".

In addition, we have started the "SmartDrive Rising Stars Project" in collaboration with Ryoma Ito and others, whom we have worked with previously, in addition to supporting the Japan national team for the men's tennis team competition "Davis Cup," the junior tournament "Yoshi's CUP" organized by men's tennis pro Yoshihito Nishioka, and the Sakurada Club Scholarship.

We also plan to undertake a wide range of initiatives, including operational support for the "Tohoku Food Marathon," which we have supported since its first event in 2014, and conducting classes on data utilization at universities.

The "Tohoku Food Marathon" is a marathon event held annually in Tome City, Miyagi Prefecture, every spring since 2014, initiated as a recovery support activity for the Great East Japan Earthquake. This year marks its 12th edition. Inspired by an event originating in France, it aims to be a "Global Fun Run" that showcases the charm of Tohoku to the world, allowing participants to enjoy Tohoku's unique scenery while eating local delicacies and drinking sake brewing water. As the "Tohoku Food Marathon & Festival," it simultaneously hosts not only the marathon but also the "Tome Food Festival" with local gourmet food and merchandise booths, and the "Tohoku Sake Festival" where Tohoku's sake breweries gather with their brewers. Our CEO Kitagawa was involved in the launch of the event, and since then, our employees have continuously cooperated and supported the event by participating in its operation as volunteers. 【About Data Utilization Classes at Tamagawa University's Faculty of Tourism】

Classes on data utilization at Tamagawa University's Faculty of Tourism have been conducted since 2021. In the 2025 class, we provided lectures on various services related to mobility data and public relations. Students were tasked with giving presentations on the theme "Let's solve 'problems, inconveniences, and dissatisfactions' in tourism by utilizing data!", followed by critiques and discussions with our employees. We plan to continue these classes this academic year and are preparing to provide value from our unique perspective.
