Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), a collection of independent luxury boutique hotels across the globe, announced that by March 2026, 29 new distinctive boutique hotels have joined its collection. As the global trend of travelers seeking "one-of-a-kind experiences" and "meaningful connections" unique to each destination continues to rise, SLH's portfolio has expanded to over 700 hotels in more than 100 countries. Le 3 by Champagne Thiénot

Located in the heart of Reims, France (Champagne region), this hotel opened at the end of 2025. It is the first boutique hotel by the prestigious Champagne house "Thiénot," embodying the spirit of "French art de vivre" (the art of living). Eight Venezia

Located in Venice, Italy, this hotel is scheduled for a grand reopening as a 27-room boutique hotel in July 2026 after extensive renovations. While retaining historical interiors such as ornate cornices, frescoes, and stained glass, it will be reborn as a space that harmonizes with refined contemporary sensibilities.

Casa Simona

In the latter half of 2026, "Casa Simona" is scheduled to open in El Valle de Antón, Panama, a town nestled in the caldera of a dormant volcano. Harmonizing local architectural styles with rich nature, it features guest rooms overlooking the valley and a theater enveloped in a comfortable atmosphere, delivering the unique charm of this land.

Hotel MOHI by Appellation

Located in Morgan Hill, near Palo Alto, California, this hotel is scheduled to open in the latter half of 2026, combining the charm of a wine region with outdoor experiences. It will be developed as a sister property to "Appellation Healdsburg" in Healdsburg, California.

29 New Hotels Newly Joined SLH

In Key West, Florida, USA, which is gradually gaining popularity among Japanese travelers as a road trip destination, four new hotels have joined SLH. One of them, Ella's Cottages, has a history dating back to 1948 and is a charming bohemian-style hotel suitable for long stays. Its sister property, Ridley House, features a "Books & Books King Suite" designed for bibliophiles and offers excellent access to the waterfront, a city landmark. The Lighthouse Hotel, located downtown, has been an LGBTQ-friendly guesthouse since the mid-19th century.
