SLASH VISION PTE. LTD. (Headquarters: Singapore; Shinsuke Sato, CEO; hereinafter, “Slash Vision”), IQuitous Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Seiichi Kanzaki, President and CEO; hereinafter, “IQuitous”), and Orient Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Makoto Umemiya, President and Representative Director; hereinafter, “Orico”) today announced that they will begin issuing the “Slash Card” (the “Card”), which enables card payments using stablecoins in Japan, starting April 20, 2026.

Regarding the Announcement of Partnership Agreement for “Slash Card”, please refer to the news release dated February 13, 2025.

Service Details

The Card enables payments using USD Coin (USDC), a U.S. dollar–pegged stablecoin, as the funding source. Cardholders can use the Card at Visa member merchants in Japan and abroad, just as they would a conventional credit card, without the need to convert stablecoins into fiat currency for each transaction.

Transactions for payments are executed based on the cardholder’s USDC holdings. Member merchants, meanwhile, receive the payments in Japanese yen or other fiat currency, as they do with standard card transactions. This allows users to incorporate stablecoins seamlessly into everyday purchases without needing to navigate complex procedures.

Pre-registration opened in June 2025, and the procedures for issuing the cards will proceed on a rolling basis for customers who have already registered. Applications for the general public are set to open around August 2026.
