The 2.5D talent group "SIXFONIA" held the final performances of their 2nd live tour 'SIXFONIA 2nd Live Tour -RAGE-' over two days, May 5th (Tuesday holiday) and 6th (Wednesday holiday), at the world's largest arena, K Arena Yokohama. This tour, which kicked off with the Fukuoka performance in April and encompassed a total of 6 shows in 3 cities nationwide, recorded the largest total mobilization in SIXFONIA's history, with approximately 50,000 attendees. At K Arena Yokohama, the stage was filled with the fervent excitement of the "SIXFAM" (the term for fans), presenting an overwhelming performance that etched the "present" and "resolve" of the six members, concluding with great success.
As the tour title "RAGE" suggests, this performance expressed SIXFONIA's passion, impulse, and strong will to "carve out their future with their own hands" through song, dance, and video direction. From representative songs to solo tracks and unit performances, the diverse production and overwhelming expressive power captivated the audience, marking a live event that proved the group's further evolution and potential. Below is a live report by music writer Yuka Sugie on Day 1 of the May 5th (Tuesday holiday) K Arena Yokohama performance.
May 5th (Tuesday holiday) K Arena Yokohama performance 'SIXFONIA 2nd Live Tour -RAGE-' Live Report
The 2.5D talent group SIXFONIA held their second live tour, 'SIXFONIA 2nd Live Tour -RAGE-,' across 6 performances in 3 cities from April to May 2026. As the title "RAGE" (intense anger, rampage) suggests, the unleashed passion of the six members was palpable, filled with fighting spirit to carve their own path, reach their goals, and boundless further potential. Here, we report on the first day of the two-day performance held on May 5th and 6th at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa.
The pounding heartbeat synchronized with the opening movie intensified, and as the countdown ended, the large heart-shaped "RAGE" logo in the center of the stage split left and right. Beyond it, illuminated by backlight, stood the majestic figures of Hima72, Amenokosame, Iruma, LAN, Suchi, and Mikoto! The beginning was heralded by "RAGE," the single released in April 2026 and the tour's title track. The heaviest and most rock-infused song in SIXFONIA's history, the raw rebellious singing, and the dynamic performance were perfectly suited for the grand stage. After vigorously throwing the towels they had been spinning, they moved into "d0gmq." The six members' spirit of "no compromise" and "no fear," along with their splendid formation dance, was striking.
Advancing from the main stage along the extended runway to the center stage was "Dive II World." Even as the venue grew larger, their love for everyone and the emotional connection remained unchanged. The SIXFAM responded to the six members, who embodied this sentiment with a new attempt at center stage direction, by waving their penlights with all their might and cheering loudly.
Members expressed their awe with phrases like "It's like a sea of penlights!" and "I feel like I could dive in!" After Suchi, who was in charge of hyping up the audience that day, had his nervousness eased by the other five members' retorts, a lively self-introduction followed. The charmingly relaxed and fun atmosphere, so different from their performance personas, is another appeal of SIXFONIA.
Iruma reflected on their journey so far, stating, "The dots of our activities are connected. All the successes from our first tour led to today. As the title suggests, this song guided us." The song he then introduced, "Lodious Takt," is a number that captivates both eyes and ears with its operatic grandeur and dizzying song development. Similarly, with "Oshikatsu?", which makes you fall captive to their expressive singing, gestures, and devilishly charming whispers, the six members displayed different expressions for each song. Being swayed by their ever-changing versatility is also part of the fun.
In the interlude video, which began with narration by voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto, the six members' 3D avatars engaged in a game of musical chairs. The chaotic, mud-slinging battle (⁉) where members tripped each other up and even if they got a chair, penalties ensued, highlighted SIXFONIA's strength as streamers.
Amenokosame, in an outfit with motifs like umbrellas and sharks (referencing her name), lightly performed "Arikitar" with clear vocals and steps, living up to her promise to "make everyone love Kosame today!" Suchi, in a military outfit, widely utilized the stage from the center to the main stage in "1HOLE," maintaining a strong presence in both singing and dancing. LAN, in a Japanese-style costume, held a wagasa (Japanese umbrella) and performed a dance in "Mugen Renka," conveying a fleeting yet earnest emotion with his clear high-tone voice. Each member performed their own solo songs, for which they penned the lyrics.
