Student T-shirt Design Award 2026 to be Held!

An art event for elementary school students in Fukuoka City and Itoshima City, "Student T-shirt Design Award 2026 in Fukuoka" will be held.

The purpose of this event is for children to experience the joy of expressing themselves with free ideas through the familiar item of a T-shirt, and to foster their interest in design and art.

Winning entries selected from the submitted works will actually be produced as T-shirts and announced through exhibitions and on the web.

This initiative connects children's expressions to society.

Purpose of the Event

The "Student T-shirt Design Award 2026 in Fukuoka" will be held free of charge, providing a wide range of opportunities to become familiar with art and drawing.

We expect the creative motivation born through this event to be utilized in art and craft lessons at school.

This initiative is also in line with the direction of fostering children's creativity in the Fukuoka City Cultural Arts Promotion Plan, etc.

Features of the Event

Free participation. Anyone eligible can easily apply.

The drawn design will be completed as a real T-shirt.

Award format with judging by experts and multiple prizes.

About Judging and Awards

Judging will be conducted by the Executive Committee and special judges, and in addition to various awards such as the Grand Prize and Excellence Award, special awards will be set.

Past Achievements

In 2025, it was held in Kumamoto Prefecture and received high praise from participating children, school officials, and parents.

Future Outlook

This event is planned to be expanded to all prefectures nationwide. In addition, the content will be customized to a local version and is planned to be repurposed for town revitalization and PR events by local governments. Utilization as a PR medium for companies, teams, and other private organizations is also being considered.
