【FAS THE CRAFTS】Solo Exhibition by Acrylic Artist Hideto Tawarajima to be Held at FAS Kyoto Higashiyama Main Store from April 20 to May 10

FAS (FAS), a fermented aging care*¹ brand developed by Shirok Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yuta Iizuka), will hold a solo exhibition event by acrylic artist Hideto Tawarajima at its FAS Kyoto Higashiyama Main Store from April 20, 2026 (Monday) to May 10, 2026 (Sunday).

FAS, which began with the fermentation of ancient black rice grown in the Kyotango region, focuses on producing products using traditional Japanese ingredients and a distinctively Japanese approach to craftsmanship. This spirit of inquiry extends beyond cosmetics, and through unique collaborations with various manufacturing sites, FAS has launched "FAS THE CRAFTS," an initiative to convey the beauty of Japan.

One such collaboration was with acrylic artist Hideto Tawarajima. Mr. Tawarajima is an acrylic craftsman who creates a wide range of three-dimensional expressions, from products to art pieces, tea ceremony utensils, and store fixtures, centered on acrylic.

For FAS, which bases its product creation on the ancient black rice nurtured by the abundant waters flowing through Kyotango, the works expressing water, an indispensable natural blessing, through acrylic sculpture are displayed as FAS's signature pieces in its flagship store.

At this upcoming solo exhibition event, held in the tranquil space on the second floor of the main store, which opens only during events, visitors can enjoy Tawarajima's diverse expressions, including signature works, acrylic tea ceremony utensils, and water-themed pieces such as "Like a stone, like water," which differ from FAS's existing works.
