Comprehensive explanations from basic knowledge to production methods, types, and label reading

Tequila is a distilled spirit from Mexico made from a succulent plant called Agave Azul (Blue Agave). Among over 200 types of agave, Agave Azul is the only variety approved as a tequila ingredient, and most of it is cultivated in Mexico. Only products meeting the official standards set by the Mexican government can be labeled as 'tequila'. This book clearly explains tequila’s fundamentals, production process, history, characteristics by type, and label reading, all illustrated with rich photographs.
