The 6th Cooking Picture Book from Studio Ghibli Works is 'Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea'

Shufunotomo Co., Ltd. has started accepting pre-orders at online bookstores from Friday, May 29, for "Children's Cooking Picture Book: Ghibli's Table - Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea," which will be released on Friday, July 10, 2026. The "Children's Cooking Picture Book: Ghibli's Table" series is a collection of cooking recipe picture books born from Studio Ghibli works. In this latest installment, we introduce the cooking processes for dishes that appeared in the film, such as the sandwich Sosuke shared with Ponyo, the honey hot milk that warmed Sosuke and Ponyo, and Lisa's special ham and egg ramen. Also featured are unique original recipes inspired by the world of the film, such as "Magic Omelet Rice" and "Mysterious Sea Water Sphere Jelly." The cooking processes are explained clearly with photos so that parents and children can cook together. Furigana is provided for kanji, making it easy for children who are new to cooking to understand. The list price is 1,980 yen (tax included).
