Shueisha Games Announces Open-World Survival Craft RPG "Wild Wild Eden"!

Shueisha Games Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as Shueisha Games) is pleased to announce that "Wild Wild Eden" (ワイルド ワイルド エデン), an open-world survival craft RPG developed by Magnus Games Studio, will be released in Steam Early Access in Spring 2027.

This title has been in development for three years under the working title "PROJECT SURVIVAL" and is now officially announced. Today, coinciding with the official title announcement, the Steam store page has been renewed and wishlisting is now open.

"Wild Wild Eden" is set on a breathtakingly beautiful, unexplored planet. You can climb towering mountains, dive into sparkling seas, and build your own base. You can tame wild beasts, ride them across the sky, and even create the world's one and only companion through a deep breeding system. While many survival games depict monsters as "labor" for efficiency, the monsters in this game are never mere tools. They are companions, family, and irreplaceable friends. Regarding the Official Title Announcement

This title was first revealed as "PROJECT SURVIVAL" (working title) at "BitSummit Let's Go!!" in July 2023. It has since undergone approximately three years of development to deliver an even higher quality experience. We are now pleased to officially announce the title as "Wild Wild Eden," having refined all aspects of the game design, visuals, and online experience. Development is currently underway with the aim of launching on Steam Early Access in Spring 2027.

Hello everyone! We are DC and Welson, co-founders of Magnus Games Studio. We are incredibly excited to finally deliver the work we have poured our heart and soul into developing.

"Wild Wild Eden" is an open-world, anime-style survival craft RPG born from the passionate collaboration between our team at Magnus Games Studio and the wonderful team at Shueisha Games. You can choose to roam the wilderness as a lone wolf or dive into cooperative online play with friends to create fun memories together. The way you play is up to you.

This has been a truly special journey for us. Since founding the studio in 2017, we have consistently focused on monster-raising games, driven by our lifelong love for animals since childhood. We draw much inspiration from our own interactions with our dogs and reptiles, who love rivers and mountains and are thrilled by exploring unknown worlds. We have poured all these feelings into this new title, a fusion of monster raising, exploration, survival, and crafting.

The theme of this game is—"The Mystery of Our 'Rebirth'."

For centuries, we have been taught that our home star was completely destroyed, forcing our ancestors to flee into the cold, deep void of space. But now, after generations, we have finally returned. However... everything has changed.

Is the history we were taught truly the truth? What was the "real cause" that destroyed our homeland? As survivors setting foot on this land again, we are not just trying to survive. We stand here to reclaim what was lost and uncover the "dark secrets" buried beneath the surface.

This title, which was announced in 2023 as "PROJECT SURVIVAL" (working title), is now reborn as "Wild Wild Eden," and I am very pleased to be able to unveil its new form.

The development engine has changed since the initial announcement, and both the appearance and content have changed significantly. Changing the engine was a very big decision during development, but I was amazed by the power of DC and Welson of Magnus Games Studio and their development team, who executed it and created such a high-quality game.

I believe that players will surely feel that passion.

There is much I would like to talk about, such as the changes, improvements, and visuals, but I would be delighted if you would follow future updates and look forward to the day it can be delivered to you!

With so many excellent predecessor survival games, the entire development team has truly struggled with the question, "What are the unique charms and points of this game?"

What we arrived at as the game's features are "affection with monsters" and spending time with them as "true family, not just convenient tools."

They run happily when you feed them, relax in their favorite spots, and play with each other. Sometimes, they are a bit clumsy but work hard for the base...

Our goal was not a "vacation" where you enjoy the thrill of survival for a short period. We wanted to create a warm "home" where players would genuinely feel, "I want to live in this world forever!"
