Nationwide Expansion of the 'Let's Deliver the Fun of Table Tennis to 10,000 Children' Project to Kindergartens and Nursery Schools

Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd. (ShoPro), in collaboration with Tamasu Co., Ltd. (Butterfly), the T.LEAGUE, and Shogakukan Academy Co., Ltd., is expanding its 'Let's Deliver the Fun of Table Tennis to 10,000 Children!' project, launching a full-scale deployment to kindergartens, nursery schools, and Kodomo-en facilities nationwide.

Launched in 2025 with the goal of supporting the growth of young children through table tennis, the project has been providing a 'Table Tennis Play Program Set for Toddlers' (including picture books and racket-making kits) developed in partnership with practicing nursery teachers.

Feedback from early adopters has been positive, with comments such as 'The children were completely absorbed in moving their bodies,' 'It sparked cooperation and communication,' 'Even children who aren't good at sports enjoyed it,' and 'It's perfect for indoor activities on rainy days.'

Table tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed regardless of physique or age, naturally fostering communication and the joy of taking on challenges. Through this project, the organizers aim to provide children nationwide with their 'first table tennis experience' and new opportunities to learn and play, fostering 'the joy of moving,' 'the happiness of cooperating with friends,' and 'a sense of self-affirmation from achieving success'—all essential in early childhood.
