The original "Ranma 1/2" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" from issue 36 in 1987 to issue 12 in 1996 and remains an immensely popular classic to this day.

The story begins when Genma Saotome and his son, Ranma, who were training in China, arrive at the Tendo dojo. However, what appears is a giant panda and a cute girl!?

As a result of his training in China, Ranma has developed a strange condition where he turns into a girl when splashed with cold water and back into a boy with hot water.

It is an invincible martial arts romantic comedy, timeless in its appeal, where Ranma and the unique characters around him get involved in situations that make you cry, laugh, and sometimes fall in love.

The broadcast of the completely new TV anime "Ranma 1/2" began in October 2024. It became a huge topic, partly due to the return of the original cast, and has been generating excitement ever since.
