As awareness of traffic rules increases, more and more people are looking to reconsider their daily transportation. ENNE ZERO is a new mobility that combines comfort, enjoyment, and practicality. You can choose how to ride according to the scene or your mood, whether you pedal to exercise and aim for better electricity consumption, or ride leisurely using the accelerator.
ENNE ZERO, with its unique direct pedal connection system, is a specific light electric motorcycle that offers an unprecedented riding experience. It makes travel more comfortable even in hot weather or on uphill slopes. It proposes a new standard as a vehicle that turns everyday travel into enjoyment.
The main specifications of ENNE ZERO worth noting are as follows. For the tire size, 14 inches were chosen to emphasize ease of handling and maneuverability in urban areas. This model adopts a 48V battery, making it more powerful. The frame is based on the X303 frame of the ENNE T600GR, but has evolved into a smarter and more refined design.
Furthermore, the rear box shown in the photos is a prototype specification and has a somewhat rugged impression, but the production version will adopt a wave fin design, resulting in a more compact and refined finish.
In addition, the controller mounted on ENNE ZERO boasts high performance comparable to 3kW-class electric motorcycles and is designed to be compatible with the unique "ZERO System."

ENNE ZERO resolves all three major challenges of specific light electric motorcycles: "climbing ability," "cruising range," and "riding when the battery is depleted," and is a new mobility that also assumes use as an alternative to electric assist bicycles with a 1:5 assist ratio.
ENNE ZERO is the only vehicle that can be ridden without a license, using both the accelerator and pedals.
Since specific light electric motorcycles are restricted to not exceed 20 km/h, adding pedals presented significant technical challenges, but the convenience of having driving pedals has been immeasurable, and we have succeeded in solving the three major issues that affect almost all specific light electric motorcycles currently on the market.
Color Variations
Technical Challenges Solved by ENNE ZERO
The pedals of ENNE ZERO are not input devices for power generation. They are designed as a mechanism for driving, using the power of human pedaling directly for wheel drive.
What is important in establishing this configuration as a specific light electric motorcycle is how to achieve the 20 km/h speed limit with a drive system that has driving pedals. ENNE ZERO has been developed with the policy of designing the vehicle structure and control logic simultaneously to address this challenge.
In the current specifications of ENNE ZERO, dynamic braking is adopted as one of the core technologies supporting the 20 km/h speed limit control.
We emphasized not completing speed management solely on the motor output side. Since human power is added to the driving pedal structure, the design of the speed limit must include braking control. ENNE ZERO adopts a vehicle design that incorporates dynamic braking based on this concept. Dynamic braking in ENNE ZERO is a type of electromagnetic brake. It naturally suppresses the speed to 20 km/h with a smooth sensation. Of course, it is not an uncomfortable structure that suddenly engages.
The AI equipped with the ENNE ZERO system is responsible for controlling the dynamic brake. The AI performs the following roles:
- Integrates and judges vehicle speed, pedal rotation, driving status, and power status. - Calculates the control amount necessary to maintain the 20 km/h limit. - Optimizes the intervention amount of dynamic braking. - When the power is off, it activates the wake-up function based on driving detection and starts up the necessary systems. - Maintains the control status of functions necessary for compliance with safety standards.
Through the operation of this AI, it senses the intention and strength of acceleration, calculates the optimal braking force, and provides smooth speed suppression. While braking might sound like deceleration, it is more accurately an acceleration suppression device. For a typical rider's leg strength, it can be released almost instantly, so the vehicle speed hardly decreases in practice.
Can return even with a depleted battery. It doesn't end there.
The anxiety of specific light electric motorcycles becomes a reality the moment the battery runs out. When the battery is depleted, you're left pushing a heavy vehicle home. This anxiety makes people hesitant to expand their range of action or to purchase one. ENNE ZERO directly addresses this anxiety. Since it is equipped with driving pedals, the concept of continuing to move by pedaling is incorporated from the beginning, even when the battery level is low.
This is where the wake-up function and the ENNE ZERO system AI come into play. When driving is detected, the necessary control systems are activated, and control states for vehicle speed management and safety functions are initiated.
In other words, ENNE ZERO is not just a vehicle that can "just be pedaled." It is a vehicle designed to allow you to return. This difference becomes apparent not from the catalog, but after ownership.
Doesn't stop on slopes. No need to push. That's the value.
While conventional specific light electric motorcycles are convenient on flat ground, they tend to be unsatisfactory on slopes. On steeper slopes, the speed drops, and in severe cases, you might consider pushing it. This is a significant weakness for urban use.
ENNE ZERO does not leave this weakness unaddressed. By adding human power to the driving pedals, rather than relying solely on the accelerator, it makes it easier to continue moving even on slopes. The value of ENNE ZERO is not in climbing slopes quickly. It's about not stopping on slopes. It's about not having to push. It's about not having your journey end there. We believe this difference is very significant for a vehicle used daily.
Cruising Range Extends to Infinity
The energy source for specific light electric motorcycles is usually only the battery. Driving power also depends solely on electricity. Therefore, to extend the cruising range, there was no other way but to increase the battery size. However, ENNE ZERO extends its range to approximately that of an electric assist bicycle, resulting in a significantly longer range compared to other companies with the same battery capacity.
Until now, there have been few specific light electric motorcycles that could truly replace electric assist bicycles.
The reason why specific light electric motorcycles have not been able to fully replace electric assist bicycles until now is clear. It's because, technically, specific light electric motorcycles with truly functional driving pedals, not just for show, have been almost non-existent. While other electric mobility options could be substitutes, they required a license and helmet, making them not true replacements.
Specific light electric motorcycles are vehicles defined within the 20 km/h speed limit that do not require a license or helmet (helmet wearing is a recommended duty). Within these conditions, if you try to create pedals that actually turn the wheels using human power, simply attaching pedals is not enough. When human power enters the drive, motor control alone is insufficient. The speed management, braking, control when the power is off, and safety functions must all be designed together to reach a level of reliability for daily use. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism clearly states that specific light electric motorcycles are defined by the 20 km/h speed limit system.
Because of this barrier, "pedal-equipped" vehicles on the market until now were either for power generation, just for appearance, or insufficient for serious daily use. In other words, they couldn't fully provide the "strong assist feel" that electric assist bicycle users truly desired.
ENNE ZERO is a vehicle designed to break through that barrier. With its driving pedals, ENNE ZERO System AI, dynamic braking, and wake-up function, we are aiming for the first "truly usable pedal-equipped specific light electric motorcycle."
The star this time is not the accelerator. It's the 1:5 assist.
As ENNE ZERO is a specific light electric motorcycle, it can also be ridden using the accelerator. However, that is not what we are seriously promoting this time.
What was desired was not an accelerator, but stronger assistance. ENNE directly addresses this.
What we are newly announcing is the "1:5 Assist" concept, aiming for an assist feel equivalent to 5 times the human power input. This is not about competing in speed. It's about maximizing the feeling of ease when starting, climbing slopes, or carrying loads within the practical speed range of up to 20 km/h.
Electric assist bicycles are convenient. But in reality, you still have to use your legs on slopes, work harder for acceleration, and it becomes difficult when carrying luggage. Many people have felt, "I don't need to be fast, just push me more."
ENNE ZERO aims to provide that answer. A vehicle chosen for its assist feel, not its speed. That is the positioning of ENNE ZERO.
20 km/h is perfectly practical. In fact, it's just right for the city.
"Isn't 20 km/h too slow to replace a bicycle?" This question naturally arises. However, the reality of city driving already shows the numbers. Japanese actual driving surveys show that the average speed of bicycles for students and adults is 14.6 km/h, and for young children and the elderly, it is 11.4 km/h. In other words, bicycle use in the city is not about cruising at a full 20 km/h. There are traffic lights. There are intersections. There are pedestrians. You stop and start again. In such urban environments, the ease of starting, the ease of re-acceleration, and not losing speed on slopes are far more directly linked to satisfaction than the maximum speed.
Furthermore, from April 1, 2026, a "blue ticket" system will be introduced for bicycles, and violations will include lane violation (riding in the wrong direction, riding on sidewalks, etc.). The idea of "escaping to the sidewalk" will become increasingly difficult.
Therefore, ENNE ZERO is not a vehicle for showing off speed. It is a vehicle for making travel up to 20 km/h much easier than before.
With small-diameter tires like 14 or 16 inches, the goal is not high-speed cruising. It's about agility in the city, ease of handling, and the feeling of "it's easier than I thought." ENNE ZERO is dedicated to this direction. (Note: 20 km/h might actually be a fast speed for 14-inch and 16-inch tires compared to normal.)
ENNE ZERO is for people like this:
ENNE ZERO is suitable for the following people:
- People who want to make their commute to the station or short-distance travel easier.
- People living in hilly areas who feel their current electric assist bicycle is insufficient.
- People who want to make starting and climbing slopes easier, even on days with heavy luggage.
- People who want to travel without worrying too much about battery level.
- People who are looking for a strong assist feel rather than speed or acceleration.
ENNE ZERO is not just a specific light electric motorcycle with pedals attached. It's strong on slopes. It can return even with a depleted battery. It makes travel up to 20 km/h easier. It is a vehicle that seriously aims to deliver these values, which are seemingly obvious yet have not been realized.
We are developing ENNE ZERO not as an extension of conventional specific light electric motorcycles, but as a new proposal that addresses the needs that electric assist bicycles have not fully met.
