"Sunday Webry" Celebrates 10th Anniversary! Commemorative Event to Be Held!

Shogakukan's manga app "Sunday Webry," operated by "Weekly Shonen Sunday," "Gessan," and "Sunday GX," celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! We have been able to continue as a manga app that can be enjoyed by all generations thanks to our readers. To express our gratitude for these 10 years, we will hold a commemorative event with the theme "Emotion, Impact. With you, every day."

The event will be held for two days, July 10th (Friday) and 11th (Saturday), at the Sanagi Shinjuku Event Space in Tokyo. Participation is as simple as showing the Sunday Webry app screen! As an entry bonus, both those who have already downloaded the app and those who download it on the spot will receive a free "Florida Sunday" ice cream (Blueberry or Mango), perfect for the hot summer! (Limited quantities each day. Distribution will end once supplies are exhausted.) Please enjoy this special time of "Eating Sunday, Reading Sunday."

Additionally, starting at 10 AM on July 10th, an event is planned featuring "manga-loving comedians" such as Yusuke Inoue of NON STYLE, Takamasa Sakamoto and Yuta Nakatani of Mayurika, and Kumamoto Pro-wrestler and Miki Inada of Kurenai Shoga. Along with talks filled with manga passion, there might even be a collaboration with Kurenai Shoga's popular YouTube project "Tank Top Kitchen"!? Meet Gorgeous Manga Artists! "Sunday Culture Festival" Returns This Year!

Since 2019, the "Sunday Culture Festival," which has been a great success every year with the sale of newly drawn merchandise by Shonen Sunday serialization artists, limited exhibitions, and special events, will be held again this year! This year, all readers who regularly enjoy Shonen Sunday are invited! Admission is free for everyone.

To commemorate the event's confirmation, we have also released gorgeous newly drawn key visuals for "Detective Conan" (Gosho Aoyama) and "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" (Story: Kanehito Yamada, Art: Tsukasa Abe)! In line with this year's "Club Activities" theme for the Sunday Culture Festival, illustrations such as "Frieren x Figure Skating Club" and "Shinichi Kudo x Basketball Club" have been released. Furthermore, these newly drawn illustrations will be made into merchandise and sold at the Sunday Culture Festival venue!

Super gorgeous event stages will also be held to color the Sunday Culture Festival! There will be many special events that can only be experienced here, such as the "'Detective Conan' Stage" with Mr. Gosho Aoyama scheduled to appear, a "Roundtable Discussion Stage" by emerging artists, and the "Treasure Hunt Stage" where you can win signed merchandise from Shonen Sunday serialization artists!
