Shogakukan conducted a joint survey across three media platforms, involving 907 elementary school teachers, childcare workers, and parents. The study revealed structural misalignments in expectations during the transition period to primary school. While teachers prioritize discipline and basic independence, childcare workers focus on emotional expression. Furthermore, a significant gap was found regarding the causes of learning difficulties, where teachers mistakenly assumed parents shifted responsibility onto schools. The results highlight that these gaps stem from a lack of dialogue rather than actual conflict.
