Matsutani Onoe x Hayato Nakamura to Appear in "Kabuki Yawa Episode 48" Streaming Confirmed!

The online talk show "Kabuki Yawa" (Kabuki Yawa), which has featured various kabuki actors and delved into the charms of the stage with diverse guests, will be streaming its 48th episode with appearances by Matsuya Onoe and Hayato Nakamura!

"Kabuki Yawa Episode 48" will stream on July 18 (Sat) at 8:00 PM. Performers: Matsuya Onoe, Hayato Nakamura.

Onoe and Nakamura are currently co-starring in the July Grand Kabuki production, "Genroku Chushingura: Ohamagoten Tsunatoyo-kyo." Set against the backdrop of the Edo period's Ako Roshi's revenge, this masterpiece depicts the exchange between the intelligent and refreshing Tsunatoyo and the rough and hot-blooded Sukemon, featuring tense mind games and heated dialogue.

Matsuya reprises his role as Tokugawa Tsunatoyo, a role he last played in January 2018's "New Year's Asakusa Kabuki." Hayato Nakamura makes his debut as Tomimori Sukemon.

Their activities extend beyond the kabuki world. Matsuya stars as Kosuke Kindaichi in the film "Yatsuhakamura," directed by Takashi Shimizu, which opens on September 18 (Fri). Nakamura is appearing in the TBS Tuesday drama series "Kimi no Suki wa Muteki," which began in July.
