Narao Fishing Port, celebrating its 2nd anniversary of registration, was registered in March 2024 as "Kami Goto Narao Sea Station," the 9th "Sea Station" in the prefecture and the 2nd within the town. "Sea Stations," recommended for registration by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism since 2000, are marine leisure bases that can be accessed by land (car) or sea (pleasure boat), offering enjoyment for everyone. Currently, there are 179 registered "Sea Stations" nationwide (as of March 2026).

"Kami Goto Narao Sea Station" is a gateway to the island, serving as a passenger terminal for ferries and jetfoils from Nagasaki Port. It houses facilities such as a tourism information center, mobility rental services (electric-assist bicycles, electric kickboards), and souvenir shops, acting as a hub for island tours.

The number of port calls by pleasure boats and yachts is also increasing, and efforts are being made town-wide to further raise the profile of "Kami Goto Narao Sea Station" and promote tourism and regional development.
