Nail design brand "EVA®" (Representative: Ehaha Shimizu) will unveil the latest collection by nail designer EVA at "Japan Nail Fashion Week 2026 A/W," to be held in Ginza, Tokyo, on Monday, May 18, 2026.

At this event, a runway show centered on nail designs will be presented. Models showcasing the latest designs will appear, expressing a "worldview where nails are not just a part of fashion but the main attraction."

A New Form of Fashion Where Nails Are the "Main Act"

Until now, nails have generally been treated as a "supporting role" in fashion. However, this event proposes a new runway where nail art created by the nail designer themselves takes center stage, making nails the main attraction.

EVA has been active backstage at fashion weeks in Paris, France, Milan, Italy, and other global locations for over 10 years since 2016, and has been working as a nail designer since 2019. Based on that experience, she continues her activities both domestically and internationally, aiming for "a world where nails are a natural part of fashion."

This initiative is a new challenge to evolve nail art from "beauty" to "profession and expression," with the aim of nurturing the next generation of nail designers and expanding the industry's potential.

From a "Regular Nailist" to the World—Reasons for Continuing the Challenge

EVA built her career while raising four children, starting with salon work. From there, she expanded her field of activity to the stages of global fashion weeks.

Behind this is a strong desire for: "Women to regain their sparkle without suppressing what they want to do."

Currently, in addition to her own activities, she is also focusing on nurturing the next generation of nail designers.

She supports establishing nails as a "profession" and connecting them to the stage of collections.

Through these activities, she is presenting new career options that go beyond the fixed idea of "nailist = salon work."
